Best pizza in SD! I love the deep dish but ny style is great too. Their burger is a must try! Hands down best burger in San Diego maybe best period. I haven’t had their chicken burger but you have to try a cheese burger omg it’s delicious. Fries kinda suck though.

If 2,300 people leave a review - you kinda have to go see what everyone is talking about don't you? You won't be disappointed. I first came here in 2006 when I lived across the street in UCSD grad student housing. I met Stephen and asked him why I should by his pizza instead of the chain pizza a few doors down. I remember the scoff. And the blues music he used to play. And his comments on quality and the troubles he took to get the best ingredients. He was a character. And the pizza was great. And if you go in today you'll find a few characters and really great pizza served in a relaxed but attentive atmosphere, no pretense - just the goods. Pro tip - get the tiramisu. Yes, tiramisu at a pizza joint. Who knew? It's some secret recipe from a Michelin star restaurant and it's legit. And if you really want to challenge your body's ability to produce insulin - get the deep fried dough balls rolled in sugar and lemon. Oof. So good. Lastly - talk to the muscle bound tatted man with the beard - he's kinda always there - Danny - his hospitality game is strong and you'll leave feeling like family. Enjoy!

Tasty pizza with BBQ chicken and good 🍺 Busy and noisy, a lot of people, but it’s ok for such a place

The best pizza joint in San Diego—or UTC area at least. We love their Chicago style pizzas, as well as their beer selection. It can get crazy busy so grabbing a table for a larger group will be difficult. They are worth the visit.
